Friend of the Cape David Lupton(who did an amazing Blackcape Interpretation has a few events on at the Edinburgh International Film Festival that are worth checking out.Daves not only a genius artist but a top bloke so show your support!

Examine the elements of an amazing music video – and even buy a part to keep.
Corin Hardy’s award winning video for The Horrors ‘She Is The New Thing’ is a painstakingly hand-created animation which recently won best International Animated Music Video in Brussels Anima 2008. For the first time, the 1000+ hand-drawn frames will be exhibited in one space, allowing visitors to be fully immersed in the animation itself. A limited run of prints signed by Corin and illustrator, David Lupton will be exclusively available to buy at the exhibition.

Join the maker of promos for Keane, McFly, Guillemots and the award-winning short Butterfly (EIFF 2003) in a two-day workshop which allows attendees to reimagine The Horrors ‘She Is The New Thing’. Followed by a screening of the final work and a selection of Corin's recent work. Participants should have some training in animation.
